Merry Christmas!

We sure hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We sure did! It was a little different having it on our own, but because of the wonderful gift of Skype we were able to share it with family and it was really very sweet. This year I planned ahead reasonably well since I was gone for a week to Idaho and I did probably half of my shopping online and pretty much all of our extended family shopping online. It was great and so much less stressful since taking Cami shopping is a bit of a chore. I didn't stress so much about getting everything perfect and tried to just be in the moment more, something I still need to work on, but am getting better.
We made sugar cookies and Cami loved helping with every step...needless to say those who received those cookies probably wondered why there were flower shapes or heart shapes or just weird shapes...well here is the answer in the form of a cute redhead with crazy hair! I forgot there were some non-holiday cutters in the box and Cami wouldn't let me take them away after she saw them.
 Making the frosting.
 Decorating with Dad.
We made chocolate covered pretzels to go with the cookies and Cami wanted to lick the bowl after we were done :) I promise it was after!
Our reading of the Christmas Story with our little Mary...
Mary and Joseph... who doubled as narrator. I was the angel and photographer.
Our pensive Mary with yes, our pink baby Jesus.
Christmas Eve party at the Coon's. It sure was fun! Thanks to everyone for a wonderful Christmas Eve.

 Christmas Morning!
 Cami checking out her stocking!

Opening our presents! We got spoiled! Thanks so much to our wonderful families! We are so grateful for how blessed we are!

Grandma and Grandpa Redd got Cami a princess tent and she loves it!
Skyping with the family and playing in a disaster!

We didnt' get around to making gingerbread houses till the 28th...thats ok though right? We had fun and Cami ate a little too much sugar....lots of candy corns I am afraid.

 Our beautiful houses!
 This is Cami's house.
Nana and Grandpa Egbert's gift to Cami. She says "the butterflies are coming! Oh no!"

Just a couple fun videos with our new gifts! Thanks again to everyone and so grateful for a wonderful Christmas Season!
